Mr. Varawut Silpa-Archa, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment. Mr. Masami Akiyama, the President of the Thai Yamazaki Co., Ltd., also received an award for the excellent employment model of persons with disability from H.E. Mr. Varawut Silpa-Archa, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment too. This event was held at the Friendly Design Expo 2022 at BITEC Bangna.

TICA organized a capacity-building trip for Maldivian delegates on inclusive education in Bangkok and Nakhon Patom, Thailand, from November 29th to December 1st, 2022, in partnership with APCD and SWU.

Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Mr. Juti Krairerk, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security, Mr. Anukul Peedkaew, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ms. Saranpat Anumatrajkij, the Director General of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP), Mr. Supacheep Didthad, the president of the Disabilities Thailand - DTH and the Association for the Physically Handicapped of Thailand, United Nations (UN) Representatives, other Civil society organizations (CSOs) and stakeholders to promote opportunities and livelihoods for persons with disabilities, asserted no one is to be left behind. The APCD 60+ Plus Bakery and Chocolate joined this event as well.
