A trainee from Thailand presented an action plan for the JICA training closing ceremony program.

From November 4 to December 21, 2021, the JICA Knowledge Co-Creation remote training program "Promotion of Social Participation of Persons with Disabilities Through Sports" was run for the second time. At the closing ceremony session on 20 December 2021, Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking and Collaboration, presented an action plan based on the remote program's learnings. Mr. Watcharapol was motivated to construct his action plan as a result of the knowledge exchanged. He’s keen on promoting gender equality for people with invisible disabilities (Autism, Intellectual Disabilities, and mental illness) through inclusive sports and beyond should be implemented in Southeast Asian countries and Japan in accordance with international instruments' commitment to disability development
