International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) falls on the 3rd of December of each year. Marking this occasion, Mr. Piroon Laismit (APCD Executive Director) joined this event on 2nd December 2022. H.E. Mr. Prayuth Chan-Ocha, the Thai Prime Minister inaugurated the event with H.E. Mr. Jurin Laksanawisit, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Commerce, Mr. Juti Krairerk, the Minister of Social Development and Human Security, Mr. Anukul Peedkaew, the permanent secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Ms. Saranpat Anumatrajkij, the Director General of Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP), Mr. Supacheep Didthad, the president of the Disabilities Thailand - DTH and the Association for the Physically Handicapped of Thailand, United Nations (UN) Representatives, other Civil society organizations (CSOs) and stakeholders to promote opportunities and livelihoods for persons with disabilities, asserted no one is to be left behind. The APCD 60+ Plus Bakery and Chocolate joined this event as well.
