APCD highlighted on article 30 of the Convention on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) which is clearly indicates that “Persons with disabilities has the full rights to participate in cultural life, recreation, leisure and sport”.

APCD gave the opening remarks and attained the workshop on Inclusive International Seminar with Persons with Psychosocial Disabilities “Towards Rights-based on Deinstitutionlization and Inclusion in The Community”. The workshop was conducted in the morning of 7 November 2025.

APCD participated significant programs of Disabled Peoples’ International-Korea (DPI-Korea) from 5-8 November 2025.

First activity was event on “International Forum on the Roles of Stakeholders in Capacity Building and Nurturing Artists with Disabilities in Asia-Pacific Region”. APCD representative delivered the congratulatory remarks for the event and shared his inputs toward promoting inclusive art in the Asia-Pacific region at the panel discussion. He emphasized on 4 main points which were (1) The power of art to develop human being and all people in the society which including persons with disabilities (2) Persons with disabilities has full rights to participate in cultural life, recreation, leisure and sport which it is clearly indicated in the United Nations Convention on The Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) in Article 30 (3) Since many of persons with disabilities have their own potential and talent on Art then people in the society should aware and impress on the art works made by persons with disabilities and lastly (4) All sectors in society should working together to promote inclusive art in the Asia-Pacific region. APCD is committed and pleased to be one of key actors to promote inclusive art in the region.

Thai delegates who join the forum were representatives of Dulabhatorn Foundation, Lucie Foundation as well as one online participant from Bangkok, Bangkok Art and Cultural Center (BACC).

Second activities APCD gave the opening remarks and attended the workshop on Inclusive International Seminar with Persons with Psychosocial Disabilities “Towards Rights-based on Deinstitutionalization and Inclusion in The Community”. The workshop was conducted in the morning of 7 November 2025.

And lastly, APCD delivered the congratulatory remarks at the 4th Korea-Asia Pacific Disability Culture and ART D-EUM Festival. The festival aimed to create a cultural and artistic space where people with and without disabilities can come together on art activities. The opening ceremony of the exhibition was held in the afternoon of 7 November 2025. The first exhibition was first held at Bangkok Art and Cultural Center (BACC) in Bangkok, followed by a showcase in Seoul this time and will continue showing in Jeju this coming December. The most of artwork showed in this gallery were photos taken by students with disabilities.       

APCD will collaborate with all partners and stakeholders to promote inclusive art in the Asia-Pacific Region.
