NHK interviews Executive Director of APCD on Disability Inclusion and Regional Development

APCD was honored to welcome Ms. Jiyoung Kim and Mr. Thapanut Nookuea from NHK, Japan's national public broadcaster, for an interview with Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director of APCD, on 4 June 2026.

During the interview, Mr. Piroon shared insights into APCD's work in promoting disability-inclusive development, empowering persons with disabilities, and addressing the barriers faced by persons with disabilities.

The interview also highlighted APCD's ongoing efforts to promote the rights and empowerment of persons with disabilities and to foster more inclusive societies.

APCD appreciated NHK’s interest in highlighting disability inclusion and raising public awareness of the rights and potential of persons with disabilities.
