TCTP 2026 Participants Visited APCD and Centara to Explore Disability-Inclusive Employment

On 26 August 2026, participants of the Third Country Training Program 2026 (TCTP 2026), entitled “Enhancing Disability-Inclusive Employment and Business (DIEB) in Asia and the Pacific,” under the theme “Building Capacity among Stakeholders in ASEAN and South Asia Countries,” visited the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD).

During their visit to APCD, the participants explore the APCD 60+ Plus Bakery & Chocolate Project, APCD 60+ Plus Kitchen Project, and APCD office. The visits enabled the participants to gain insights into disability-inclusive employment initiatives and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities.

As part of the program, the participants attended a session at the Centara Life Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana, where they were welcomed by Mr. Kanin Tangtermpong, General Manager. Mr. Asdang Sukwises, General Manager of Centara Life Cha-Am Beach Resort Hua Hin, shared his experiences and practices in employing persons with disabilities in the hotel industry. Mr. Samrit Anupak, Head of Community Development, Inclusion and Social Affairs, Central Group, also shared perspectives on sustainable development and disability inclusion.

The visits provided the participants with practical insights into disability-inclusive employment and business practices and facilitated the exchange of knowledge and experiences on disability inclusion and sustainable development in Thailand.
