APCD welcomed 27 fourth-year students from the Social Studies Teaching Program, Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University, Sanam Chandra Palace Campus, on 30 January 2026. The study visit was led by Assistant Professor Dr. Manasanan Namsomboon and introduced by Assistant Professor Dr. Theeraphong Bualar from Burapha University.
The Faculty of Education, Silpakorn University, organized the 4th Volunteer Project to enhance students’ understanding of disability-inclusive education, particularly for learners with visual impairments, while strengthening their academic application, practical skills, social responsibility, volunteer spirit, and teamwork.
The APCD study program was introduced by Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat, Logistics Officer, APCD. The program began with welcome remarks by the Executive Director, Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director, APCD. The program continued by presentation on APCD’s Mission, Project activities Approaches and short Disability Equality Training facilitated by Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of the networking & collaboration. And switched the group for a tour to APCD 60+ Bakery & Chocolate Café as well as the Kitchen by C.P., and the accessible facility of APCD training building. The tour was facilitated by Ms. Supaanong Panyasirimongkol, Networking & Collaboration Officer and Ms. Thorfan Dechachainimit, DIEB Project Coordinator.
This initiative reflects Silpakorn University’s commitment to nurturing socially responsible graduates and advancing inclusive education through experiential learning and community engagement.
