APCD and JICA Thailand Visit Thai PBS for New Year Greetings and Partnership Collaboration

Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD), led a joint delegation with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA Thailand) in a courtesy visit to Thai PBS, Thailand's first public television station, to extend New Year greetings and explore future collaboration opportunities.

The JICA Thailand delegation included:

  • Ms. Ichigi Akari, Representative
  • Mr. Sasaki Ryosuke, Representative
  • Ms. Nuntaporn Sittidetboripat, Program Officer

The APCD team comprised:

  • Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director
  • Ms. Nongnuch Methajittpan, Executive Secretary and Manager of Knowledge and Information Management Division
  • Mr. Panomkorn Prasitsuparot, Administrative Officer
  • Ms. Sirinan Kongcharoen, Knowledge and Information Management Officer

Thai PBS, officially known as the Thai Public Broadcasting Service, holds the distinction of being the first public television station in Thailand and Southeast Asia, operated by the Thai Public Broadcasting Service organization.

This meaningful visit strengthens the partnership between APCD, JICA Thailand, and Thai PBS in promoting disability inclusion and raising public awareness through media collaboration.
