On Saturday, 21 February 2026, APCD was invited by the Foundation for Children with Disabilities (FCD) to organize inclusive sports and games at its annual event, “Happiness Day for Children with Disabilities and Their Families 2026.” This meaningful activity marked the 12th consecutive year of the Foundation’s commitment to promoting inclusion and strengthening family bonds within the disability community.
APCD, led by Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat (Logistics Officer) with team members include Ms. Supaanong Panyasirimongkol (Networking & Collaboration Officer), Mr. Chayoot Homdee (Community Development Officer), Ms. Thorfan Dechachainimit (Project Coordinator, Disability-Inclusive Employment and Business (DIEB), and Ms. Vasuthida Pinrattana (Part-time Logistics Coordinator). The Booth’s activities were also joined by Ms. Prim Kaewpradab, International Relations Officer and Mr. Warit Payaksiri, Assistant International Relations Officer from Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disability (DEP).
The event provided a joyful and supportive platform for children with disabilities and their families, highlighting the family’s role as the foundation of development. Around 300 participants attended and enjoyed recreational games, creative workshops, and family-centered activities promoting happiness and positive relationships.
Activity booths, including a Dodgebee demonstration and a lucky game, added to the festive atmosphere. Children also received gifts after participating in the games, creating a warm and lively environment throughout the event. On this occasion, APCD booth also received an appreciation certificate in recognition of its contribution and participation.
