APCD Participated in Social Development Expo 2026 under the Theme “Co-Creating a Better Society”
On 21 August 2026, Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD), participated in the Social Development Expo 2026 (SDX 2026), held under the theme “Co-Creating a Better Society” at IMPACT Challenger Hall 2, Nonthaburi.
The expo was officially opened by Mr. Nikorn Soemklang, Minister of Social Development and Human Security. Among the distinguished guests were Mr. Akaranan Kankittinan, Deputy Minister of Education, and Mr. Kantapong Rangsesawang, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security.
During the event, Mr. Piroon visited the APCD booth and learned about the center’s activities and initiatives promoting disability inclusion, empowerment, and sustainable development for persons with disabilities.
The event brought together government agencies, organizations, and stakeholders to showcase initiatives and exchange knowledge on social development. APCD’s participation provided an opportunity to share its work, exchange experiences, and strengthen collaboration toward a more inclusive society.
