Thai Yamazaki Delegation Visited APCD to Learn More About the 60+ Plus Bakery & Chocolate Project

On 30 October 2026, the delegation from Thai Yamazaki Co., Ltd., led by Mr. Surachai Kopatta, Executive General Manager of Thai Yamazaki Co., Ltd., visited the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD). The delegation was welcomed by Mr. Piroon Laismit, Executive Director of APCD.

During the visit, the delegation learned more about the activities and operations of the APCD 60+ Plus Bakery & Chocolate Project, which promotes vocational skills and opportunities for persons with disabilities. The visit also provided an opportunity to exchange information and share experiences related to the project.

Following the visit, the Thai Yamazaki delegation and APCD representatives sampled bread products from Thai Yamazaki.

Both parties then exchanged views on their ongoing partnership and discussed opportunities for further cooperation. The discussion was attended by Ms. Wilailekha Somprach, Manager of 60+ Plus Project, and Ms. Nongnuch Maytarjittipun, Manager of Information and Knowledge Management Department.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity for Thai Yamazaki Co., Ltd. and APCD to strengthen their relationship, exchange perspectives, and explore ways to continue working together to promote opportunities for persons with disabilities.
