Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Manager of the Community Development Department at APCD, and Mr. Narongril Wallaiabphan, President of the Dao Ruang Group, jointly delivered the opening remarks and emphasized the importance of the training session, which aimed to raise awareness and understanding of disaster preparedness for persons with disabilities.

Ms. Hiroko Itako, a Japanese Overseas Cooperation Volunteer (JOCV) specializing in disability-inclusive disaster risk reduction (DiDRR), delivered a lecture on disaster preparedness to the training participants.
