APCD supported a Partner Organization in Chiang Mai Province for Sharing Lesson Learned and Knowledge on Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID), 1-2 May 2026 in Chiang Mai Province, Thailand

APCD resource person, Mr. Somchai Rungsilp shared his experiences and insights on Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) and Community-Based Inclusive Development (CBID) with the active staff members and partner organizations of Dullabhatorn Foundation (DBF).

The first day of the two-day program, Mr. Somchai with the team members of

DBF had the meaningful time to review the DBF 3-year strategic plan (2026-2028) and then learned about CBR and CBID and how to apply the knowledge to empower community and the parent’s group in DBF program.

The second day, DBF staff members along with their key partners attended the workshop on how to enhance the community and parent group through CBR and CBID approaches. The session discussed about developing furthermore closer and tangible collaboration among community, parents’ group and DBF.

APCD believes that with this collaboration will enhance the local civil society organization, parents’ group and community to promote the positive changes for persons with disabilities in Thailand
