The Memorandum of understanding (MOU) made between DPI-Korea and APCD to implement the Jakarta Declaration in 2024 included discussion about future collaboration between APCD and DPI-Korea on 27 February 2024.

On 20th August 2021, the 100 lunch boxes were distributed to a community isolation center of the Bangkhen District Office.

Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Manager, and Mr. Watcharapol Chuengcharoen, Chief of Networking & Collaboration from the Community Development Department, attended the preparatory meeting for the Workshop Implementation, which will take place through Zoom Platform on 19-20 August 2021.

Mr. Cason Tzse Chun Ong, Chairman of AAN, greeted all attendees and emphasized the importance of the Leaving No One Behind concept in connection with AAN promotion on Inclusive Society for All.

Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager, participated in a sub-committee meeting on promoting and implementing the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in Thailand.

APCD participated in the preparation meeting with TICA staff, Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) staff, and Thailand’s implementing agencies.

On June 16, the 60 lunch boxes were distributed to medical professionals of the Prasat Neurological Institute for Thailand.

Report of the UN Development System's aid to Thailand for "Leaving No One Behind" was the most essential component in the discussion.

Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, emphasized a key concept of promoting the participation of parents and the community to empower students with disabilities.

Mr. Krittamed Saman, a third-year student of the Faculty of Arts from Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, receives orientation from the Community Development Department team. His internship will start on 24 May and be completed on 24 July 2021.

Mr. Kevin Cook, Vocational and Community Services Consultant, Cape Fear Group Homes and Vocational Services facilitated Program introduction.

Closed and participant-limited with strict counter measures is applied to the filming procedure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Members of Dao Ruang Group (Marigold) in Bangkok and Ban-saman Jai Group (Healing Family Foundation) in Chiang Mai, representing of self-advocates with intellectual disabilities in Thailand participate in this Project.

Representatives from JICA Thailand Office, Japanese Resource Persons team, and APCD provide inputs on content preparation to produce a user-friendly manual for parents/family members of children with disabilities.

There were 78 Zoom stations from other ASEAN countries and Japan that joined the Workshop.

There were over 130 participants from relevant partners and stakeholders working in the disaster management sector, including Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager and APCD representative.

Each trainee showed art works they learned from H.E. Mr. Poldej Worachat, Ex-Ambassador of Thailand to Sri Lanka.

The program and purposes of the workshop were explained by Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager.

Mr. Wuthisak Pichayagan, General Manager of Centra by Centara, at Government Complex Hotel & Convention Center, and his team introduced a training program in collaboration with APCD.

Mrs. Ubol Thongsalubluan, Provincial Social Development and Human Security Officer; Ms. Onanong Kumhang, Director of Center for Empowerment and Vocational Development for Persons with Disabilities in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province; and Mrs. Sarudda Promma, Head of Nakhon Sri Thammarat Shelter for Children, and their families presented Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, with a token of appreciation.
