This is a success of Public-Private-Partnership among APCD, the Business sector (Thai Yamazaki Co., Ltd., MarkRin Co., Ltd., Hyatt Regency Sukhumvit Hotel, Centra by Centara Hotel, Central Group, etc.), and the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (DEP) under the Ministry of Social Development and Human Security, Royal Thai government. Certificates are given by Mr. Piroon Laismit (APCD Executive Director). Today, APCD arranged Job Matching for the graduated trainees with disabilities to accomplish the APCD goals of reducing poverty of persons with disability and promoting employability of persons with disabilities.
On 23 May 2023, Mrs. Kanchana Ruangsiriwiriyakul, Centra by Centara Government Complex gave welcome remark and Mr. Piroon Laismit gave an opening remark at the Centra by Centara for the Graduation Day of the two-month internships program for the trainees of the APCD60+ vocational skills training and empowerment of Persons with Disabilities in Hospitality project at the Centra by Centara Government Complex Hotel & Convention Centre Chaeng Watthana. The management team of each Department also join this event. Congratuations !!!

Mr. Piroon Laismit, APCD Executive Director, welcomed and greeted participants at the meeting. He shared the purpose and expected outcomes of the meeting.
Dr. Kenji Kuno, Disability and Development Advisor and JICA Senior Advisor, facilitated the detailed meeting and group discussion. He encouraged participants to share their ideas and work together to find solutions to the challenges facing people with disabilities in Thailand and Asia-Pacific region.
Senator Monthian Buntan, representative from Disabilities Thailand (DTH), provided constructive feedback.
Ms. Siriporn Praserdchat, Officer, Logistics, acted as the master of ceremonies at the meeting. She kept the meeting running smoothly and ensured that everyone was on the same page.
