Our Activities

APCD participated in the fundraising activity hosted by The Marigold group on April 28th, 2024, in Bangkok.

The working group join the third consultation meeting for CRPD monitoring.

APCD and JICA implemented the 2nd online schooling for the Disability Equality Training (DET) facilitator on April 19, 2024.

The main purposes of the workshop are to review, report and monitor on the implementation of the ASEAN Enabling Masterplan 2025: Mainstreaming the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The Memorandum of understanding (MOU) made between DPI-Korea and APCD to implement the Jakarta Declaration in 2024 included discussion about future collaboration between APCD and DPI-Korea on 27 February 2024.

On 10th Mar., APCD facilitated APDC visited Dao Ruang Group which is the first self-advocate group of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families in Thailand. APDC learned hand-craft workshop together with Dao Ruang Group.

On June 16, the 60 lunch boxes were distributed to medical professionals of the Prasat Neurological Institute for Thailand.

Report of the UN Development System's aid to Thailand for "Leaving No One Behind" was the most essential component in the discussion.

1. Representatives from JICA Thailand Office, Japanese Resource Persons team, and APCD provide inputs on content preparation to produce a user-friendly manual for parents/family members of children with disabilities.

There were 78 Zoom stations from other ASEAN countries and Japan that joined the Workshop.

1. There were over 130 participants from relevant partners and stakeholders working in the disaster management sector, including Mr. Somchai Rungsilp, Community Development Manager and APCD representative.
