On 23 February 2023, Mrs. Ureerat Chareontoh, the Director-General of the Thailand International Cooperation Agency (TICA) led TICA's Cooperation partners in Thailand ( the USAID's Bangkok-based Regional Development Mission for Asia (RDMA), the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, the Australian Embassy, the Japan International Cooperation Agency(JICA), the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), the Agence Française de Développement (AFD), the Peace Corps of the United States) visited the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability.

During the opening ceremony, a group photo was taken featuring the training participants, APCD Executive Director Mr. Piroon Laismit, JICA Thailand Office Senior Representative Ms. Kitagawa Yuki, TICA Deputy Director-General Mr. Wattanawit Gajaseni, and the Organizer Team.

The participants also visited Don Yai Temple, which is a community evacuation site. The visit was facilitated by the Pathum Thani Independent Living Center.

On February 9th, Dr. Shigeo Tatsuki, a Japanese Short-Term Expert, explained the importance of disaster management knowledge and social services integration.

The program concluded with a closing ceremony where a group photo was taken featuring the training participants with their certificates.

A "Google Chat platform-DiDRR TCTP ASEAN" was facilitated by Dr. Kenji Kuno, Advisor on Disability and Development of JICA-APCD partnership program.

On 20 February 2023, Dr. Srinivas Tata, Director of the Social Development Division of the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP) led his team, visited Mr. Piroon Laismit, the Executive Director of the Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD) to strengthen collaboration between two agencies. Mr. Piroon also invited them to see APCD activities, especially Disability-Inclusive Business, in Vocational skills training for 60 Thai persons with disabilities.

Mrs. Naraporn Chan-o-cha, the Spouse of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand led Dato 'Seri Datin Seri Dr. Wan Azizah binti Wan Ismail, the spouse of Prime Minister of Malaysia visited the Foundation of Asia-Pacific Development Center on Disability (APCD Foundation) under the Patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on 9 February 2023

On 25 January 2023, the 8th Year of APCD Employability Vocational Skills Training for Thai persons with disability was presided over by Mrs. Pornnipa Masileerungsie, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities on behalf of the Director-General. Mr. Piroon Laismit.the APCD Executive Director gave welcome remarks. In this batch of 2023, there are over 100 applicants with disabilities. This project is a collaboration among the APCD, the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, and the private sector.
